Hi Ivan- Have an Anderson CNC model 1325 TC which has two spindles that each have an auto tool changer that carry 8 tools on each. It runs a Fanuc OM controller. My requirements are simple 2d cuts. I use one spindle for drilling and the other for routing. I have tried a couple of programs but the post processors have not been successful. Your assistance is appreciated and hope you can advise me on any 2d Cam or cad/cam software that may be suitable for my machine.

Hi MIKEMAK,

The software we use where I work at is ezcam. The website is www.ezcam.com. You can simulate in 3D to see what your part will look like.

Hi, i am building a cnc machine, i am using pics that i programed, so i cant use a software like kcam, becouse that kind of program uses a definided way to work with the db25 port, dosent work with my machine, i have some idea of drawing in autocad, i neead a post procesor that pick my 3d draw and convert it to a g-code, i am working in a program that pick up a g code file and traduces it an secuence of lpt1 or db 25 port that my controller understand perfectly, also has the ability to work in manual override with a joystick, my machine has 4 axis and use an standar dremel of hand, the 4 axis moves the dremel in clock orientation, i dont know if that axis is the estandar, but with a 3 axis post procesor i think i could work fine, but if anybody knows a post procesos for 4 axis that work with autocad i will be gratefull
