Hello all!!!!
I guess I should have come here first. Little about me. I took some machine tool tech classes ( years ago ) to become a mold maker, never happened. Worked in a bakery as a mechanic, made parts, fixed machines, went to a creamery (milk plant) did the same there. There is where I got heavy into electrical, learned PLC's, I was facinated by them. Now I'm back in plastics, We have a Bridgeport VMC 1000/22 with DX32 controller if that helps anyone. I don't know really anything about it but, I had to fix it. We use FeatureCam for the conversion, that's about all I know about it. So as you can see I will be busy pretty soon, I need, want to learn this stuff. I ( some day ) would also like to build a mini one for home to mess with. That's about it.

Great to meet you have you as part of the community. I hope you get a lot out of the site, especially when you start your own build. They are great for projects around the house.

Sounds like you got thrown into the fire right away at work. Sounds like you got it all worked out though.
