Hi, i found this site and i am taking the online course for CNC intro.
I am a gunsmith, i work for Simmons gun repair in Olathe Kansas.
I have access to a cnc plasma cutter in the shop next to us and want to learn how to use it.
I have been a gunsmith for 12 years now, I have auto-cad here but it has been 3 or 4 years since i have used it so i have forgotten everything i knew.
I also have a CNC 5 axis mill i can use but it takes some bribery.
I will be using this information to build Simmons new adjustable rib, i am doing this myself because of a lack of support and equipment issues in the shop.
We use a local company for our solid ribs and if i can get them the files i need without having to tie up there programmers it will speed up the time of building.
