Hello Rsupreme,

Yes you can use a Drill Press as a mill. In fact, there are a number of manufacturers that make cross slides for that purpose. The spindle is stationary and you move the part around with the cross slides.

[hello Ivan, Thanks for the reply, yes I have recently purchased purchased a vise with x and y travel. I'm sure any milling done this way may not be extremely accurate, but should do until I purchase an all-in-one cnc machine. Thanks again will talk soon....Randyb][/b]
