Tell me more about this. It looks like either stainless steel or polished mild steel. Cutting the shape would be easy, but it also looks like it has been formed in a press.
Tell me more about your project, what you are trying to accomplish, etc. Then the group could probably steer you to the right place.
Have a good one,
IvanHI ivan! my project is this. i want to make a belt buckle like this:

I have this buckle here:

I know i have to take a good picture of it and get it to my idea size, which is around 2 1/2" x 3 1/2".
my questions is...
How can i make sure the bits will start at the start point of the buckle?
Do i need to create two or three dxf files to cut the complete buckle?
( i see some point are very tight)
Can i use sheetcam for this job?
What the best type of C clamp i need to hold these type of buckle down?
and lastly....
what type of bit will i need to cut in to this metal?
(which i don't know what it is)
Is there a way i could test the metal and find out?....
bytheway.....love all your video!!!!
