knocking sound when chuck reverse. 4 Months ago  
when im running in reverse and the chuck must go forward the cnc makes a knocking sound behind the chuck.must i change the program so the chuck stops before it goes forward again.

Hello my CNC brother! Please give more information on this. Does it do this at all speeds? How bout when you are running a solid tap and the spindle reverses? And yes, a M5 spindle stop is usually applied in program b4 a change in direction. Lots of luck my friend!

Yes it's doing it at all speeds but i changed te program i put a M5 in and now the shound is gone thanks.
