We bought a 5 x 10 in January and unfortunately haven't had the chance to use it much as we're busy with other work. It's a solid machine though,(heavy steel frame and has performed well the few times we've used it.

I just stumbled accross this site while searching CNC. It seems to be kind of dead but maybe it'll pick up.

Along with my CNC Bench Lathe I'm been running a vortech 4x8 router. I'm cutting alot of MDF. It does everything I need, does it well and I have no problems to report. I would recommend getting the pump setup. If you have any questions let me know.

Hello I'm new and shopping hard for a 4x8 router and found vortech. Do you have good results with yours? I plan on doing cabinet parts and some prototype fixtures with it. Any feedback would be very helpful. This is going to be a big addition to my shop. thanks

Our Vortech Router has run just about everyday for over a year now.We are doing mostly cabinets but just started doing some other furniture too. The people there are great. I deal mostly with Brent who is top notch. I went to the ISA show in Orlando and I saw $40,000 and $50,000 routers that had nothing on mine. I tell everybody who asks that I would not hesitate to buy another and hope to soon be busy enough to. Their website is www.vortechcnc.com

Hello tarikk!

I am a carpender and i also want to buy a cnc router. Three months ago i didn't have any experience in 3D designing. Now i have Rhino 3d and i believe i can manage some 3D models.I think it is very easy to use.
About cam software take a look here.
They say it is very good software.I don't know about Rhinocam.
As for the machine you must decide whether you want to produce 2D or 3D staff,
how big your working table should be, if you want an automatic tool changer etc.

As for me i am going to buy a small cheep cnc router for start to see how things going and after that i can continue with a more expensive machine.

EBC,
we have a Vortech Router. It is a great router. Running everyday and making us money. I havent had any problems but from what the others on the vortech router forum say support is top notch. So I feel like I'm covered.

The Mach software is easy to use and does more than I'll ever use it for.

Re:Vortech routers 3 Weeks, 5 Days ago
I am a sign fabricator, bought a 4X8 Vortech router running Mach3. Cutting very eratic even after talking with techs, Brent and Kieth. Sent screenshots of my settings and other stuff. Still cutting poorly. Does anyone have any suggestions on settings, or have You experienced this problem?
