Hello folks, been awhile since my last visit.

A friend has an idea to sell a gizmo and figures it'll be cheaper to buy it from china. So here's our chance for something to be made in the good ole USA.

Using my cad program (again for like the first time in about a year), I draw the qizmo top and side views, and proceed to submit the drawing along with a brief description to fellow manufactures in my area.

I haven't heard back from anyone yet so I thought to submit it to you guys for advice regarding the concept of how stuff gets made from an idea to a final product.

So here's the idea along with a png file (picture) and an incomplete dxf file (generated from fbcadcam - which nay not be cross app compatible).

It's a simple number wheel spinner proposed to be made out of plastic:

My thinking is to have a mold made and either stamp it out or inject it.

What do you think? Should the be more info in the drawings or an elaborate description in order to sufficiently communicate with prospective manufactures?
Keep in my this is my first request for a manufacturer to make something for me with out having the opportunity to communicate with them face to face.

Cheers, Owen
