Ok, I am not able to get pics to the size I can fit on here but if you go to this link on ebay;
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=280189755004&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=018 or better yet go to eBay.com and look up IDC Heavy Duty XYZ stage Industrial devices corp LOOK, you'll see something similar to what i have.
I bought this similar machine for $150.00. Mine has one stepper motor on the Z, the guy who sold it to me said that the controller for this machine burnt out so they stored the machine away because. It was to expensive to replace at the time, they had it for 7 years before the controller went (so I guess no warranty) but they picked it for parts to use on other machines, in which the parts were being sold at other tables..and they let them go for free. This thing is Beefy...both the X and Y table at the base is wider than my hand is long from the wrist to top of middle finger, the trucks are beefy the dimensions are 26x26x13 (to end of steppers which I put back on from the parts box they gave me) the XY tables are 7.5 inches wide. I am begining to suspect that this machine was also modified with parts from other machines....but so far everything still seems tight, sturdy and smooth...when I moved the tables by hand. Assuming you all looked it up, do you think this would make a good cnc machine? I want to cut ridgid foam, delrin and machinable wax, maybe some aluminum on it. I purchased a Newport breadboard table 36 x 60 for a steal the following day. I would like to mount this machine onto the bread board table (which has 3/8 inch threaded holes throughout the whole tables, literally every inch). Now, the one motor that came with it (on the Z axis)
has this for info: Slo-sych motor, Type M062-LS09, Amps 4.7, Step/Rev 200rpm. I don't think I know what this means, other than the RPm's. would this be a good motor to keep [on the Z axis] or should I replace it? it seems small compared to the whole machine. I am also a bit apprehensive about the term "slo" in slo-synch. I am going to try and take pics to fit on here tongiht. If all goes well, specially by your suggestions, this will be my First CNC BUILD

and I'll record it by posting pics on here
