hi everybody greate site!!!!

i'm using EMC2 on linux and everything is working greate only one problem, i don't whant to mill i whant to rapid prototype thus how do i import a stl or any 3d file and slice it? what i meen by that i need to slice the ­object­ so that i can start from the bottom and work up.

O!! must be open source for linux
hope somebody can help!!!
