Does a larger number for accuracy = better accuracy?

Does a larger number for resolution = better resolution?

(I was under the impression that a smaller accuracy = better, and that a larger resolution = better)

Can you explain what you are looking at a little more? Stepper Motors, some sort of software setting, etc?
