Hello mik82,

You got it. Usually you will have a number of different processes and tools to use.

Generally the first process is Roughing. It will be a bigger tool and used mainly to quickly remove material.

Then you either go to Finishing or an intermediate process. This will be a medium sized tool

Then, if your design is that detailed, you will Finish with a very small tool that can get into all the corners and valleys to remove small amounts of material.

Think of it like carving. You want to rough out your design first. Then shape it up a bit. Then get out the fine detail tools to finish it off.
