cnc mill vs cnc router 8 Months ago  
I am not sure if i can understand the difference between these machines.

Apart from that the cnc mill has movable and i believe smaller bench so perhaps you can only work on small items, are there any other major differences?

What is the use of the cnc mill that you can't do with the router?

The mill may have gear changabilty and belt drive. The mill head on some machines are tiltable which adds an axis that most routers do not have!
And most mills are a much stronger structure too.

So the tiltable head is moved manually or automatically?
You can have 4 axis with that method?
Which is more expensive. The router or the mill?

Whew!!! That's one long address ,,,price and specs. The head of the mill does move!
It's around the same price as a router but of course a smaller table.
