3d scanner??? 7 Months ago  
I found on this site about a 3d laser scanner.I must say that i am very excited of it's capabilities!
Does anyone use this scanner??
Is it able to scan the detail they say it can?
How much does it cost?

I am interested in finding a scanner that can produce accurate 2-D DXF files that can be directly output to my CNC. Can you direct me where I might look to find this?

Nice project Robin!

Apart from the software which i don't how much it costs the other parts are inexpensive.
I am a little hesitant about the detail it can scan.
The picture of the statue is not very convincing.

I believe that it is a free trial download, and £95 to register

Write to both mine and robin's suggestted companies. They want to sell. they'll want to prove thier product's abilities;more pics,customer achiements ,etc!
