3d scanner -cad - cam- cnc confused ? 2 Months, 1 Week ago
after many hours of searching on the net i am totally confused, so many forums so many 3d scanners/cam & cnc packages/ cnc machines that my head is spinning.

i am totally new to all this but have big ideas i want to make my own parts both for me and to sell. These will range from parts for tractors (brackets links etc) car parts want to scan and customise trim parts and add bling to engine bays, and mountain bike parts. I have talked to lots of people and there seems to be a market for it, however have zero knowledge other than what i have picked up over the last few months surfing.

My thoughts are a nextengine 3d to scan items, rhino 3d to process and alter scans, rhinocam to give toolpaths and finally a haas tm-1 to cnc.

Are these good choices and easy to pick up? i have watched the e-course on this forum by Ivan Irons and this seems feasible?

i would be very greatful for your opinion and feed back as to wheather all these processes can be pulled together to give me a professional finished product?
or if anyone else is doing a similar thing but using different software hows it working for you ?

many thanks confused mogtract
