DIY CNC

CNC is going through a Do-It-Yourself (DIY) revolution.  This is a part of the greater fabrication at home revolution.  People want to be able to quickly and easily fabricate unique components and parts themselves.  The technology used to be out of reach, but has come down into people’s garages.

DIY CNC has been facilitated by a small industry that has sprung up to supply machines, parts, kits, tooling and modifications.  These people started with their love of the concept and turned them into companies.  CNC is no within the reach of an average fabricator, electronics hobbyist or technically minded person.
