jimmy e asked:

I need information about prison escapes from this prison from the years of 1972-1976,
for a paper i am writing on mass prison escapes in the United States

I am writing a paper on the prison systems here in the us.

including prison conditions in the states of Arkansas.

any information on a plasma donating program
involving the “cutter laboratory”, for possible law suites against them.

but all information about these states are welcome.Yahoo has my e-mail and all will be kept confidentual.

Thanks and God Bless.

Plasma Cutting Patterns

Plasma cutting patterns are available for free download.  Are you looking for some original plasma cutting files? If you are I have a few here that you can use on your plasma cutting machine.

These files of mine are free for you to use without any limitations.

I actually created these designs from scratch and was selling them on eBay. I always wanted to go to markets to see if I could sell them there as well. If you’re trying to make money with your plasma  machine, one way could be to do the rounds selling at the local markets around your area.

These plasma cutting art files can also be used with any other CNC cutting machine. You can use them with water jet cutting machines, laser cutting machines or gas cutting machines.

You could also use these files for two-dimensional CNC milling.

How I created these designs was by firstly drawing them on a piece of white paper, and then scanning that image into the computer. Once the image was in the computer I used my graphics design program to trace around the pattern of the scanned image.

The software that I used for this was called CorelDRAW 12. There is an updated version available now which I believe is called CorelDRAW X4.

The images need to be a vector file to work with.  When these patterns are vector files there is no degradation of the image quality. If you use a bitmap or a JPEG image you’ll notice when you zoom in the image will become blurry and pixelated.

When you use a vector file there is no pixelation at all. This is because a vector image is a mathematical equation and no matter how far you zoom in, lines will always be sharp and clear.

You don’t have to spend a lot of money purchasing a machine of this caliber. DIY cnc plasma cutters have been built by many people all across the world and now, you can build yourself one, too.
You need to have some awareness of PCs, circuitry, programs, blueprints, and basically a general understanding of how machines work.

To start with, you will need a collection of plans. Now, you search and locate the plans online. Don’t restrict your search to just 1 or 2 sets of plans. You will want to look through a few of them. This can help you to determine what set of plans will help you to build the machine which will work well for you. There are different sizes of cnc plasma cutters and every one will allow you to do different things,eg cutting different thicknesses of metal. So, selecting the best set of plans is critical in the machines performance at the end of the project.

If you cannot weld, there are still no problems. Some manufacturers also offer DIY cnc plasma cutter kits that simply bolt together. You may finish up paying extra for a kit like this ; it’ll be way easier for you to put all of the pieces together.

Your financial position for this project will determine what route you should take. Simply make sure that the final result will be the perfect size plasma cutter and that it will do what you need or what you want it to do.

In the end, you’ll be in a position to show pride in your attainment and you may still spend less money on building your own DIY cnc plasma cutter than if you had acquired one.

Plasma Cutter ? A High Performance Standard Equipment

Plasma cutting is a fast growing method that is considered as one among the fantastic technologies nowadays. It’s powerful in whatever ways we want it to be. Heated up as well as commanding characteristic features of the plasma beams are being used for the purpose of cutting and welding in a lot of industries. The cut that is made use of by this system using plasma cutters are always extraordinarily substantial.

Plasma cutters are accurate metal cutting machines. If you are planning to get a plasma cutter for your industry then it’s meaningful to make an effort and choose a plasma cutting machine which comforts the most excellent for all your metal cutting needs.

Plasma Cutter Is Having Unique Engineering Importance

A plasma cutter is a comparatively user-friendly industrial tool to engrave steel and other electro-conductive metals. These cutters exerts by using a high voltage electrical arc and a condensed gas. An electrical arc produced by an inner electrode ionizes gas passing through a nozzle, constructing a concentrated arc of plasma at the cutter’s angle. The arc’s contact with the working facade makes a high heat circuit.

A machine is normally said to be perfect when it does exactly what it needs to carry out. That’s for what you want exactly every time. We can examine that electro-mechanical machining processes in all-purpose. Indeed, this gives the use of themselves to easily assign standard tolerance, but that is not so for plasma cutting equipment. The actual machines like the cutting table, motors, rails, CNC, as well as the bridge. In fact they have recognition with the objective of far away surpassed the tolerances of the plasma cutting progression.

Whilst it comes to using a plasma cutter, there are a lot of specials features that will normally control the accuracy as well as capacity of the machine. In a normal scale we would refer to it as the quality or class, of the plasma cutting machine. This can be further determined as the kind of consumables used in the machine, the gases that are being used, the kind of material that is been cut by the machine, individuality of the material being cut, gauge of the material used as well as the design or structure of the elements on the metal plate.

While Considering Economical Aspect

It is correct that plasma cutting systems are fairly higher priced than some other cutting welding equipment. But there is certainly a difference between price and cost. The plasma systems are identified for their high cutting pace and excellence deliverance. Therefore they offer efficiency gain by saving welder’s time and money.

This is because the cutting machines do not necessitate preheating of the work piece. That’s why it’s enabling the operators to total jobs rapidly. The main benefits of using plasma cutters include enhanced quality cut. The labor demanding finishing works are required only in a least amount in the plasma cutting technique. Function of plasma cutting torches, consumables and power supply design have enabled the operators to get more cutting power and thicker cutting capacity.

Analyst suggests welding supplies with plasma cutter so whether you need a plasma cutting and plasma welding. Terry Burch is an Industrial Equipments Analyst in Sydney Australia.

Accurate Plasma Cutting With the Right Plasma Cutter

A high-precision, solid, heavy-duty cnc plasma Cutter starts with a design that is created specifically to be the most stable platform possible for accurate plasma cutting. By building a plasma cutter with accuracy, stability, speed and durability as a goal, you will end up with a machine that will outperform and outlast it’s competition.

Does heavy-duty or fully-welded really matter? Is accuracy over the lifetime of the machine important? Yes! When the base of the machine does not move during the cutting process, the plasma torch is able to deliver incredible accuracy. This is accomplished by starting with a super solid, fully welded base. Bottom line – You need professional grade machinery to produce professional grade products.

The components that make up a highly accurate, heavy-duty plasma cutter need to be designed to work as a unit. Mismatched components may make for a lower cost machine, but the cut quality will suffer. Matched components eliminate repeated set-up adjustments that slip or wear over time, especially under heavy use.

Pairing a heavy-duty cutting table with precision machined components and state-of-the-art software, results in a cnc plasma cutter that is capable of amazing precision. Adding a properly matched plasma torch system provides very high cut quality to any shop. This means accurately cut parts with crisp, smooth edges, eliminating the need for secondary operations that add additional time and cost to each and every project.

The plasma torch, the business end of the cutter, also requires special consideration. It will need to be matched to your applications. Tight integration of the torch and controls with the software will provide high productivity and reliability. All must be present to realize the full potential of a top quality, highly accurate plasma cutter.

The CNC software package needs to be state-of-the-art. It will need to be easy to use, easy to configure and flexible. By having the latest automation features, it will be able to provide the high productivity and reliability you are looking for. Automatic true shape nesting software is another key component that will allow the full potential of a top-quality plasma cutter to be realized.

Whether you are involved in shape cutting, metal fabrication, or metal working, a heavy duty, a fully unitized plasma cutter is your best choice.

It will enable you to cut with maximum efficiency. Plasma cutting machines must be able to hold their advertised tolerances today and, more importantly, for many years to come. Only a well designed and well built plasma cutter will do this for you.

Even in slow economic times, it can be a mistake to be penny wise and pound foolish. Can you afford to buy cheap? Buying quality is never a mistake.

AKS Cutting Systems manufactures heavy-duty, high-precision CNC Plasma Cutters that deliver the Repeatable Accuracy, High Speed and Rugged Durability required by the most demanding fabricators and manufacturers. Visit us at www.AKSCutting.com

We produce the only machine-tool quality plasma cutters in the industry.

CNC plasma with THC and floating head switch

plasma, mp1000thc, 18ga steel, 21amps, 120ipm, 127volts Here’s the code you can write in the post processor section to run “before feed” as: N5 G28.1 Z.0 N6 G92 Z0 N7 G00 Z.73 N8 G92 Z0 N9 G00 Z-.2 N10 M03 the G codes & what they do can be found in mach2/mach3 manual downloadable from: www.machsupport.com basically the G28.1 is go to home switch, the G92 erases all other offsets, the Z.73 is the switch travel + any distance back to where you want zero to be (your number will be different), G92 erases all other offsets again and defines Z as (in this case) 0. then move to Z-.2 (your number may be different here) to pierce height, and M03 is torch on. Just program that to run before any feed move on the plasma & you got it.
