I am a CNC Engraver/programmer in the UK.
Obviously i have no idea what a fair wage is in Australia?
So hopefully before we discuss terms and conditions i will be a little more clued up on wage structures in Australia.
A rough guide would be useful, ie,Lowest wage=?;Average=?;Good money=?

I am very interested in becoming a cnc operator, but because of lack of experience in this field, I would like hear more suggestions from other people on how to become one?

I graduated in Middlesex University, Design & Technology.
Worked in a Packaging Machine company in Asia as a handy man, machine assembler.
I’m experienced in Desktop cnc since year 2002, did a lot of research on cnc, and I would like to take a step further to operate Larger cnc machine like Bridgeport VMC, YCM, Leadwell, Victor, HAAS…etc
I have joined many forums such as Robot forum, Electronic forum, RC forum, and cnc forum.
I know how to use a manual milling machine, facing, milling, drilling, centering indicator, what it takes to make a 2D parts.
I use Autocad to produce 2d works, and as for CAM software I have little experience with it, hoping to learn more If I afford one.
Wish to learn CAM Software: Mastercam, visualmill, Delcam, Powermill, Visi.
