This is the first real video of our PCB CNC mill. The mill is made as a final project before we finish the gymnasium. We have made the entire mill ourselves, both the mechanics and the electronics. The programming of the mill has also been made by us. The programming is made for printing PCB boards, in a way so that the program decodes a Gerber file and translates it into coordinates for the microcontroller which then controls the stepper motors. The mill has an interface by USB as well, by help from a small FTDI-chip.

Here you can see my CNC-Mill at work. The name of the manufacturer is Paul Anton, but this company is still closed. The Mill work with 3.5 Ampere Stepper motors and 3 stepping motor end phase from Benezan Electronics (Germany, http://www.benezan.de), they are called Beast. Later i show you how fast they can work.
