I am looking into getting a welder and need help selecting a model. I need a very versatile welder, since I will be welding a large variety of materials and thicknesses. At the least, I need something that can weld thin metal (automobile exhaust, maybe stainless) and weld up to 1/2″ steel. I would also like to be able to weld aluminum. What would make the best welder for this type of versatility. Also, what would be a good plasma cutter? Thanks

I have a 88 z31, and recently i have been hearing a screeching coming form the front right assembly, and after taking off the wheel, caliper, codder pin, and the huge nut on the spindle, my rotor is stuck due to a bad bearing (which i think is why it’s screeching, it has also been shaving away metal somewhere behind the bearing) i’ve tried tapping, pushing pulling, rubber hammer, raw hide hammer, sledge hammer with a rubber guard, everything short of a plasma cutter. if anyone knows how to remove the rotor or bearing, please help
